And then God made Jared Padalecki and decided he must look good without a shirt on.

I've been watching Gilmore Girls and has been re-introduced to the lovely story of Rory and Dean again. I so wanted to be Rory especially during her school dance where Dean got all macho and went berserk on Tristin (who by the way is not too shabby but he had to go to One Tree Hill - sad) telling him to not ever come near her girlfriend again.

Oh high school dances. What a shame. I never had the chance to attend one.

Why Alexis Bledel went out with Milo Ventimiglia instead, I will never understand. Must be the height. Alexis MAY not be into really tall men? I bet if Dean showed up in Stars Hollow looking like this, even Lorelai would beat Rory to it.

Fortunately for Jared, this obsession of mine with him is limited to the idea of Gilmore Girls-Season 1-Dean. Anything beyond season 1, I don't like. His hair colour on the 2nd season was too light and hence very off-putting. No wonder Rory went for Jess's perfect hair!

Anyway.

He's recently engaged to a non-actress so good on him.

I really have to get to bed. I got some errands to run before I go back to Manila today.

I'll dream of Stars Hollow and Dean for sure.

Still on the 10 minutes concept. I saw an article on Pete Wentz (whom I had a one minute crush on after seeing his racy photos on the internet wishing he was gay but then he goes off and marries Ashlee Simpson, the lesser of the evil Simpson, and thought "LOSER!") titled "10 minutes with Pete Wentz" so it got me thinking - if I had the opportunity to spend 10 minutes with someone and ask him/her absolutely anything, who would it be?

I was actually surprised that I was able to get to an answer in seconds.

Without a doubt.

I'd spend a good amount in those 10 minutes asking him to hook me up with a job at Old Trafford especially with the MU channel.

In the last 10 minutes, I have realised:

a) I don't mind bags made of nylon. In fact, my most used bag out of all the "designer" bags I have is my black Burberry shopping tote bag.
b) Which leads me to this conclusion: I want a Prada bag. Ever since I saw Regina's bag, I wanted one of my own especially since I was in Prada yesterday and I tried the bag she has got (only bigger) and it looks perfect on me.
c) I also realised that that might not be a good idea after all since it doesn't come in black and I want it in pink.
d) Which lead me to realise that I'm going through a pink phase - my new wallet is pink (and insisted on nothing else), my watch is pink, I was close to getting a pink laptop (although I didn't - and it was so hard to control myself) - heck, the only reason why I want to get an iPhone is so I can get one of those pink casings and stack it alongside my other pink stuff.
e) Not to mention, getting a MacBook just so I can get that pink casing they sell on Mac stores.
f) Random fact: Coke Zero is a fat girl's best friend. All that good stuff and no calories. What can I say? Heaven!!!
g) I really shouldn't get another bag. I have hardly the space for it in my room. :(
h) Now I feel like a loser because of that fact. :( :( even more... :( :(
i) Don't watch the Gilmore Girls if you're on a diet. All that reference to food is going to make you nuts and your will power to stay away from junk food is going to be destroyed, I tell ya.

So I was in Megamall this morning and went to this magazine place beside Toy Kingdom since I remember Logan telling me they sell international magazine and might carry Rolling Stone. So I went and asked and they said it's sold out so that only means this god forsaken country WAS graced by the beautiful Adam Lambert and some people from this country really have that issue except me so that means it was a stupid idea to wait it out and become lazy and not jump at the chance to get that mag because why? I don't know and I just know that I'm gutted and I'm not happy with myself right now I thank you.

We stayed at Lee Street, and going to Harris Street was quite a walk. A 5-minute walk with my mom turns to 15 minutes. But it was worth it.

The building was all white. And it reeked of chlorine from the outside.

I couldn't get the letter "E" :(

Shame, there was construction going about the place.

Ian wasn't there. Sayang.

- As usual the WiFi here at NAIA 2 is not working. I bought my Smart Bro with me just in case.
- We arrived waaay early than scheduled. We were supposed to check in at 6:00 AM but we are now but on board at 5:00 AM. They have new immigration cards where you only have to put in your name, date of flight, flight number and signature. None of those annoying fields such as "Address Abroad" or "Traveling On Package Tour?".
- We queued up luckily to a pretty nice guy at the check-in counter. The guy beside him was almost cross with one of the passengers. The annoying thing about getting in early is that they give you the crappy seats. But I was able to charm (or so I thought) our way to really good seats. Man, was my politeness level up to the hilt!
- I am so pleased with how I packed my stuff.
- I don't want this trip to end!!! I can't wait to burn some serious money shopping on Westfield. Or somewhere! I need a new wallet!!!

I don't have any sleep yet.

CD-R King

You either you love it or you hate it.

If you're from the Philippines and own a computer and likes to burn things on a CD or DVD, for sure you've heard of CD-R King.

What's to hate:

1) Very poor customer service.
2) Cash only. But according to their website, not accepting credit card payments actually keep their prices low so I'm good with this.
3) Did I mention very poor customer service? The long queue you have to endure to buy a PHP 6.00 blank CD doesn't seem to be worth it unless you're buying in bulk (I think...). They oughta put "hiring cheap staff" as an additional item on their FAQ as to why they're able to keep their prices cheap.
4) The problem is obvious - their joke of a priority system where you have to pick a CD on some CD roller that has got a number on it and return it on another CD roller on the other side of the store - but nobody really checks this so it's all screwed up - but they won't fix it. What they need is the ticketing/priority system similar to Smart or Globe where the number is generated by a system and printed out on paper.
5) They don't sell external HDD's.
6) They dont' sell external DVD writers.

What's to love:

1) Really, really, really cheap stuff.
2) The CD-R King branch in Gapan don't crowd up so I'm good with queuing up because there's no queue in the first place.
3) CHEAP STUFF!!!

I'm thinking of getting a mini DV tomorrow at CD-R King over at Robinson's Pioneer. Might turn out to be a bad idea though... tsk tsk tsk...

- I was never really a big fan of Michael Jackson. I liked Janet better. He was 50? Wow. I don't know if that can still be considered young at this day and age. I wonder how the government would handle the Neverland Ranch. Are they going to open it for public viewing? That should be interesting.
- My favourite Michael Jackson songs are: 1) Man In The Mirror 2) Give In To Me 3) Dirty Diana 4) Black and White 5) The Way You Make Me Feel 6) They Don't Really Care About Us 7) Scream 8) Billie Jean 9) Rock With You 10) Remember The Time.
- I still think his best video EVER is the one for Black and White.
- Transformers ROTF was AWESOME!!! I had to watch it again today. I watched it on Saturday at NE Pacific. I was surprised at the size of the crowd queuing up to watch. Went to SM Clark today to watch it. The minders handled it worse over there.
- Iza and I watched Transformers in Clark when it came out (was that 2007? 2008? Don't remember...) and there was no queue at all!!!!! Apparently, not this time.
- I still have a crush on Optimus Prime. It sounds silly, I know but it can't be helped.
- Bumblebee is AWESOME! Ironhide in my opinion though should have gotten more screen time.
- Those twin cars were really annoying at times.
- It could have done without the Leo character.

I like the whole look. But I'm not a fan of Goyard and would have replaced the luggage with something on wheels.

I ♥ the jacket. Not liking the jeans too much though.

Mariah Carey: except for the heels, NORMAL. Her get-up almost looks like what my mother would wear.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Kardashian (why are these Kardashian's so popular???): I like the mom's choice of footwear, though. Kim's dress is not that bad either.

Jessica Simpson: well, she looks comfortable. I will wear this ensemble in a heartbeat. Just replace the dog carrier with a laptop bag.

Hugh Jackman: ♥ the whole thing.

Jessica Stroup: this is my favourite look of the lot.

Kate Bosworth: HATE IT. She was never a favourite of mine so whatever she does, I wouldn't like.

Conquering Saizen!

I finally made it to Saizen (not to mention the stupidity of losing my wallet after parking at the basement of Robinson's Galleria, having to go back to San Roque and back to Galleria via cab, borrowing money from my cousin, and finding my wallet at the bottom of the car seat... I need to get a wallet that's neon pink so I get to spot it quickly and easily!) and had a blast going around. It was smaller than I expected and they didn't have any Japanese snacks which I thought would have been cool.

Everything sold for PHP 85.00 - so I got two (pink and black).

Not bad, right?

One of the purchases that I made was this envelope. I was on my way to Bulacan to attend the birthday party of Ariel's daughter, Aila, who happens to be my godchild. Wala akong choice, ginawa na lang akong ninang.

I didn't understand what the characters were, and I didn't want to give a strip that could have said "condolence" so I just didn't use them - still I'm curious as to what those characters meant.

When they say they have all kinds of shit, they really have all kinds of shit. So I bought a lot of shit (wet tissues, small pouches that now stores my HDD's, chargers, and what not, a rugby ball for my niece) which cost me:

Tokyo Tokyo Metro

While strolling through Valero one day, I saw a sign that said "METRO" and thought "wow, that is so Hong Kong!". Then took a closer look and got excited to see that it was an upscale version of Tokyo Tokyo. And you know I'm a sucker for Japanese food and sushi so I checked it out.

Their sushi was surprisingly BAD. But I still finished it all since I'm a pig like that.

I sat at the most corner part of the place since I ate alone. Only to realise that there were a lot of lone eaters in the place. Which is good if you eat alone all the time and just don't want to have that awkward feeling of "OMG I'm eating alone I'm such a loser yaya!!!"

I ordered my usual order in a Japanese restaurant if Torikatsu curry is not available. Chicken Teriyaki.

The service was slow, and they don't accept credit cards just yet. I had to step out of the restaurant to withdraw from the nearby bank. Embarrassing!

The only upside I saw in eating at this place was the fact that you don't feel weird eating alone. Other than that, stick to Tokyo Tokyo.

Finally got to eat at Dayrit's one morning. Forgot what the date was but I did. The rice was good - and I'm not a rice person! It's a bit pricey though for breakfast.

This is Kim (yes, there are two Kim's at the office - causes confusion during meetings) who doesn't know about my hobby of taking photos of food. Sorry, Kim!

The apple pie was good; and I love the fact that they were generous with the gravy.

Melodramatic title, but I've already accepted that he's leaving us since last week. Whatever. I don't understand it though. Why would he want to go to Spain? Maybe because he likes the women there? His mother likes it there? No offense to Real Madrid, but I don't think being a Manchester United player is all that bad.

Does he want more money? I don't know.
Is he not in good terms with the other players? I don't know.
He hates the weather? I don't know.

I got myself an HP Mini this afternoon - let's just hope I don't regret the older version (80 GB, 1 G Ram, Intel Atom N260) instead of something much higher. I just got tired of lugging something so big. The difference between that and the next version is around PHP 5,000 and you can already get a proper laptop for just a few more which is what I would want to avoid since I already have one - well technically, it's not mine, it's from the office. And besides, it's a MacBook that I want - but still waiting for the next release. I'm waiting it out, I'm still not sold on the current model. I still hear a lot of complaints about it from people.

It's just like the regret some of the folks have buying the iPhone 3G and then Apple releases iPhone 3GS. I don't think I want that grief.

I call it Adam. It's blue and black all over - which is basically Adam's colours, right? :) I think it was a good idea to get this instead of a proper laptop. At least now I know HP's display is excellent - so if I want to get a laptop, I'll definitely keep HP in mind.

And just posting a photo of me and Bochog. For fun. :p

Let the white dove sing, let the whole world know that today is a day of the reckoning...blah blah blah...Carrie Underwood sins high note blah blah blah...It's Independence Day!!!

I'm on SWAT duty this week so that means I need to be at the office until 8 PM ET since my coverage ends at that time. As is routine, I had breakfast at DeliFrance (ordered the 4-cheese omelet again, so predictable, yet so good) before going home. Owen happened to be there with his friend/work colleague so I asked him to join me. Since I had someone to make conversation with, breakfast which usually just lasts 30 minutes lasted for more than an hour which was fine since I welcome the company anyway. Eating on your own all the time gets pretty boring. And pathetic.

Since my route home from RCBC is via Makati-Mandaluyong bridge by way of Jupiter Street, I decided to finally (FINALLY!) visit the the Team Manila store since they open at 9 AM MNL. Independence day kasi, kaya ayan, nagpaka-patriotic ang lola mo. Tse!

I think it was bad luck that it was today that I paid them a visit since the stuff they were selling were pretty old. They said that they refresh stocks every Friday twice every month. Oh well. Next time.

I was actually celebrating the fact that I was debt free yesterday since I've paid all my credit card balances on Tuesday. Guess that didn't last long. I was even thisclose to getting a Lomo camera. It's a good thing I saw this bag at the store that had all the broken lomo's that were up for repair. Wag na, uy!

The shopping bag - pretty cool, huh? They should do Andres Bonifacio. He's my favourite Katipunero.

The quality of the shirt they use is surprisingly bad. The t-shirts sold in Cambodia were so much better. I didn't even like the fit of the shirt on me (sleeves pass the elbows, I like it when it's just slightly above) but I still bought some anyway.

I actually liked some of the bags that I saw but didn't really see the point of getting one. I already have an every day bag which is the Burberry nylon tote bag that I got in Bangkok.

I did get me a passport holder (right) and a random cosmetics case for the stuff I have a hard time finding inside my bag since they're small. The passport holder, I thought, was a steal at PHP 100. I got them in these colours so it's easy to pick them out when you put them in a bag. Which reminds me, I still need to get a hot pink iPod case.

This is for my niece! I thought it was cute. Let's just hope it fits her. I got her a medium, since the large sized one looked too big.

One of the shirts that I got. I just thought the design was cool and it struck me as something Adam Lambert would wear. Maybe the snake at the bottom of the design reminded me of him and that Rolling Stone cover.

It's actually kind of weird that I'd buy a Ninoy shirt since I was raised in a Marcos loving family. I don't even think he was that great. I was too young to care. I thought Ferdinand Marcos was more interesting. Then again, I only heard about the good things he did during his regime as talking bad about Marcos at the house was a very big no.
