It has been 3 days since I came from my short Hong Kong vacation, but my brain still refuses to work.
It's porbably because I haven't properly LJ'd it. ^_^
The good points!
1. Disneyland!!!
It's small compared to the other Disneylands in the world (Tokyo, Euro, Anaheim, Florida) and it's definitely short of rides. But the shows were great and I went mad shopping for souvenirs! Getting a picture taken with Mickey Mouse easy, because there's not a lot of people. Catching the Princesses was harder.
2. The hotel!
Our tour package was more expensive than usual because we stayed at a Disneyland hotel. I chose the Hollywood one because he he he it's cheaper. But it was a good choice because Disneyland hotel is too impractical for my taste and all rooms, regardless of the view, were the same. I got us a Garden View room because it was the cheapest, eh, made no difference should you have gotten the sea view. :-s
3. The food!
The food at the hotel was great. No complains. I miss the satay they served during breakfast and the bread pudding for tea.
4. Chip N'Dale
While shopping in the toy shop at the hotel, Chip and Dale suddenly popped by. I got so excited it was like seeing an overgrown kid during Christmas Eve. I was screaming and jumping up and down to a point where my mum said, "ay, that's not my daughter!"
5. The MTR
I love the MTR. I have always loved riding in trains anyway.
The bad points!
1. The price.
Everything in HK Disneyland was fucking pricey. I did not expect their bottled water to be at 20HKD a pop.
Shopping for others proved to be hard because of the price. So i ended up being my selfish self and just shopped for me. He he he he....
2. Ocean Park was a mess. It is not as good as it was years ago.
3. The heat made the Hongers extra smelly.
4. The food outside the hotel. We ended up eating in TGIF's.
5. I have no more money!!!!!!!!!! I ended up buying some of the things my parents needed. Hay.. the life of a working daughter.
