I went to the HK Tussaud's in '07 but I don't recall seeing JD then. Maybe it's a new addition?

Regardless - it was a welcome one. I answered the survey at the end of the museum visit and a worker at the museum surprised me with a little prezzie which was nice. See, I learned about the survey when I said I want to see Wayne Rooney at Tussaud's.

Commuting on the way to Manila this time. I left Wayne in Gapan because I'm going to Hong Kong on Thursday so I didn't bother bringing him.

I'm entering my 4th week of cold turkey and sobriety. It's quite difficult especially since I work with smokers. I have officially become boring and you know what, I like it. And besides, if I'm only interesting because I smoke and drink and go out, then I'm not worth knowing.

I smell chili garlic paste here on the bus. Now I'm craving for dimsum.

We ended up in Hong Kong for the Thanksgiving weekend. Suvarnabhumi is still closed today. I haven't got a lot of regrets though.

I just wish I can stop all this crying nonsense.

Arrived at the airport quarter past 4 am - my boss was kind enough to let me go early so I was able to leave the office 2 hours earlier than the usual.

It's raining hard - I wonder if it's the same in Hong Kong. I checked the weather earlier - didn't mention any rain so this should be interesting. I just can't wait to go up in the sky again.

It's cold - just when I didn't bring a jacket cos I thought it was going to be hot. What a dork am I.

Wish my mum was with me. She'd love to fly at a weather like this.

I should really sleep. And stop thinking about food.

Ever since I quit smoking (yes, I did) last 31 May (I think...) I've been eating a lot lately. I don't know why I quit really. I guess I got tired of smelling bad???

Our flight back home is delayed. We were supposed to leave Hong Kong at 21:25 but it has been changed to 22:00 - and that's still up to change as well.

I'm enjoying the free internet here at the 7th floor where the restaurants are.

I'm not looking forward to go back to work.

I enjoyed my time here in Hong Kong. Went to H&M and met up with Colin.

I spent around HKD 3,000 in the place!!! The sad part is, most of the stuff are not for me! Got sweaters and jackets for my mum and all that bangi.

The weather in Hong Kong is nicer than the last time I was here. Macau was hotter.

Spent loads of dosh in HK Disneyland - I guess all that repressed spending chorvah has been released. Me and my mother were kinda restricted from buying the last time since my father was with us.

I need to go to the bathroom.

I hope someone AT THE VERY LEAST missed me back in the Philippines.

Orteh!

It has been 3 days since I came from my short Hong Kong vacation, but my brain still refuses to work.

It's porbably because I haven't properly LJ'd it. ^_^

The good points!

1. Disneyland!!!

It's small compared to the other Disneylands in the world (Tokyo, Euro, Anaheim, Florida) and it's definitely short of rides. But the shows were great and I went mad shopping for souvenirs! Getting a picture taken with Mickey Mouse easy, because there's not a lot of people. Catching the Princesses was harder.

2. The hotel!

Our tour package was more expensive than usual because we stayed at a Disneyland hotel. I chose the Hollywood one because he he he it's cheaper. But it was a good choice because Disneyland hotel is too impractical for my taste and all rooms, regardless of the view, were the same. I got us a Garden View room because it was the cheapest, eh, made no difference should you have gotten the sea view. :-s

3. The food!

The food at the hotel was great. No complains. I miss the satay they served during breakfast and the bread pudding for tea.

4. Chip N'Dale

While shopping in the toy shop at the hotel, Chip and Dale suddenly popped by. I got so excited it was like seeing an overgrown kid during Christmas Eve. I was screaming and jumping up and down to a point where my mum said, "ay, that's not my daughter!"

5. The MTR

I love the MTR. I have always loved riding in trains anyway.

The bad points!

1. The price.

Everything in HK Disneyland was fucking pricey. I did not expect their bottled water to be at 20HKD a pop.

Shopping for others proved to be hard because of the price. So i ended up being my selfish self and just shopped for me. He he he he....

2. Ocean Park was a mess. It is not as good as it was years ago.

3. The heat made the Hongers extra smelly.

4. The food outside the hotel. We ended up eating in TGIF's.

5. I have no more money!!!!!!!!!! I ended up buying some of the things my parents needed. Hay.. the life of a working daughter.
