Hugh Jackman is People's 2008 "Sexiest Man Alive" - until they roll it out again next year, that is.

But serioulsy, I'm very, very pleaesed that they choose Hugh as this year's "Sexiest Man Alive". It's been a long time coming, too. He's been on my list ever since X-Men.

Other men who made the list (that I think deserves to be there - sorry I can't make it even more catchier than this!):

He gets me all hot and bothered.

He's a guilty pleasure, I must admit. I just can't bring myself to watch them awful High School Musical films, though.

Gotta love Ed Westwick. You just gotta love him. I'm very pleased he made the cut and not Chace or Penn.

Sadly, Michael Phelps made it to the list. (I can never understand why.) Probably one of the perks you get when you win gold medals in the Olympics, I reckon. Coverage.

I'll NEVER be a fan of the guy. NEVER.

I'm surprised Robert Downey, Jr. didn't make it. So did Gerard Butler.

My boy, Ryan Gosling, didn't make it which was to be expected. No film of his was released this year. But if you go to his IMDB page, you'll see he's got projects/films slated for 2009 release.

Next year then!

how can you resist??? )

Rio Ferdinand - 7 November 1978
Ryan Gosling - 12 November 1980
Ryan Giggs - 29 November 1973
Isaac Hanson - 17 November 1980

October boys are not so bad.

Zac Efron - 18 October 1987
Ian Thorpe - 13 October 1982

No wonder I'll end up single. Librans don't couple well with fellow Librans and Scorpions. Oh sigh.

I can never get it right. It's the hot weather here in Manila. I can't layer it up unlike these guys.

Oh to live a life in the high street... )

The only thing I like about her is her hair.

And to remind you why I really don't like her - and her singing voice, too:

grrr! )

Hmp.

Gaaah, this picture is killing me.

I need to get this issue of The Rolling Stones. I'll pop by National Bookstore this week and see if it's available. If not, oh well, I'd have to make do with just staring at this online version of his monumental magazine cover.

Phwoar.
Thud.
And all that jazz.

I was on us.imdb.com looking at random titles and eventually went to Colin's page on the site. I am currently reading a poxy book titled Me and Mr. Darcy about a girl (Emily Bronte Hemingway Albright) on a guided tour of Jane Austen in England who in the first place has got love problems because she keeps sizing all the men she dates with, you guessed it, Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. To be honest the only reason why I'm still reading it is because it cost me PHP 355.00, which is not usually the price someone pays for a sordidly written book. Anyroad, going back to the lovely Colin Firth, I found out he's playing Harry Bright in the film adaptation of "Mamma Mia"! Yay! Can't wait - Harry, you see, turns out to be gay which he'll reveal in the end. I wonder if he's going to be doing any singing. Harry sang "Thank You For the Music" and "Knowing Me, Knowing You" in the musicale play. I still remember flying to Singapore (and meeting [info]nhr too, tee hee) just to watch it. Lovely!

The only snag, I reckon, in the casting is getting Amanda Seyfried to play the role of Sophie - after reading that she read for the part, Rachel McAdams would have been a better choice.

Dakin Dominic Cooper is playing Sky!!! He's lovely.... Loved him in "The History Boys".

Title of this entry suggests that I have watched "The Simpsons Movie". (It's the number 1 film in the US, HairSpray is only number 4. Sad. Poor Zac.)

All I can say is, if you want to just laugh and be grateful for how smart you are (even though you aren't, most of the time) go see this flick.

Although to be quite honest, they should have just renamed it to "The Homer Simpson Movie" as the movie called for minimal contribution from the other members of this beloved yellow family.

I actually had to BEG (Imagine!) my agents to go watch it me but the effort was futile. Nobody loves me here in Clark!

EPA! EPA! EPA! EPA! EPA!!!

Jeesh, I gotta get to sleep. My new schedule at eggplant is wrecking my body clock. I start at 12 mn and end at 9 am. I will miss my weekday-restday-opener schedule. I have to wait for 3 months to get it again although I'm going to kill myself I'm still with Little Chennai by that time.

I cannot wait for Hairspray.

And this happens!!!

Zac Efron in an act of complete selflessness makes out with Nikki Blonsky when they visited MuchMusic in Canada to promote the film. Sweet!!!

They kissed 3 times which makes it a make out session innit? If you would see the clip, I don't think he's a very good kisser.

But isn't he the cutest???

I swear if I ever get my hands on him I'll turn him to my little boy toy. Or something to that effect.

After 3 weeks, my internet is back. Damn that Smart Bro. I swear, I have called them a million times, and in all those times, not one call did I ever get through to a representative immediately - I had to endure their queue music which I now know very well. Durrr!!!

I hope and pray this is the last time someone from their field team visits my place because seriously - just getting help from ANY Smart front liner is close to impossible.

I can't wait for Hairspray to play here in the Philippines. I want to see John Travolta play Edna Turnblad. That, and see Zac Efron who is total GP (guilty pleasure) material. He also totally looks like Jared Leto in this film, leaving Troy Bolton behind.

You know, I haven't been jealous of celebrity relationships since Jonathan Brandis got steady with Tatyana Ali, but I get real jealous when I see Zac with Vanessa - le sigh. The funny thing is, on his us.imdb.com profile, it says there:

Met ex-girlfriend Vanessa Anne Hudgens on the set of High School Musical (2006)

Weird. I just saw pictures of them on JustJared getting smoothies at Robeks.

Speaking of films I want to see, Transformers (more than meets the eye) is playing here in Clark. The problem is, my rest days got switched so now my days off are on a weekend which means total difficulty of getting someone to see it with me. I'm thinking of watching it alone - I have no problems with seeing films by myself before - but now, it's like, I'm already miserable here in Clark, watching films alone just basically confirms that fact. :-s

I should be sleeping. I need to get to the office early. But I missed le internet so much I just want to hug it, and kiss it, and hold it tight. Right. ;)

1. Kim Possible shows too much skin.
2. Never will it happen that a hotel owner will let its lounge singer live in one of the bigger rooms in his hotel with her 2 rambunctious kids.
3. You can not tell what is Alex's real lineage - Black, Hispanic, or Asian?
4. Even Stevens is one of the most underrated brilliant comedies of our time. Yes.
5. High School Musical wouldn't have been as successful if it weren't for Zac Efron. The plot of the film is bland and the songs are not so good. But Zac? Yes, please.

Oh, yes, please...
